Dr. Zamir Páez
Dr. Zamir Páez is a Colombian plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgeon who holds medical certification in both Colombia and the United Arab Emirates. He began his medical training at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá and continued his international education at prestigious institutions, including The Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia and CosmeSurge in Dubai.
With more than 10 years of surgical experience and thousands of procedures performed, he has specialized in rib remodeling techniques such as RibXcar and FrontRibx, high-definition liposuction, muscle volumization, lipoabdominoplasty, the PRISMA technique for secondary mastopexy, facial rejuvenation surgery, and ultrasonic rhinoplasty.
His clinical practice is primarily based in Medellín at IQ Interquirófanos, a surgical center accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI). He also maintains an active clinical practice in Dubai.
In 2024, Dr. Páez founded BodyCraft Academy, an international surgical training platform for plastic surgeons. Through the academy, he has led hands-on courses featuring live surgery and the analysis of complex clinical cases, training more than 60 plastic surgeons from 10 countries.

- PRISMA (Pectoralis–Rib Implant Support and Muscle Adjustment: An Innovative Technique for Secondary Mastopexy” — Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery – Global Open, 2026. First author and corresponding author. This prospective study evaluated 74 patients who underwent secondary mastopexy and reported statistically significant anatomical improvements, with an overall complication rate of 6.76%.
